What assessments are used and included?

We use state of the art technology to perform strength testing - these include handheld strength testers and force plates (Think of fancy scales attached to an app) which allow us to measure your baseline function accurately. We have compiled previous data from numerous tests and studies and can give you normative feedback. Ie where do your results sit compared to others of a similar demographic (age/sex).

We also use digital goniometry which allows us to give you precise range of motion assessment which can often be a key metric we can reassess down the track.

We also perform all regular traditional physiotherapy based assessment to compliment the hard data we have from the tech based assessment.

In some cases, we may also ask you to fill out a self reported questionnaire on your current situation so we can recheck this down the track.

How do I know if this will work for me?

Every Injury is Different - but with a variety of different pathways. We can usually find a solution that works for every 'body'. We also offer free mini consults if you are unsure if physiotherapy is the best fit for your concern. If not we can refer you on to the right person.
